I thought the show tried abit to hard aswell. I think they should make it themed more aussie, and create their own ideas, rather than trying to mimic the UK series.

Wasnt overly impressed, hopefully it has a turnaround.

I wasn't impressed. I tried not to compare it to Top gear UK, but it's kind of hard not to when they've just duplicated most of the UK show. Carlie Cox even went so far as to imitate Jeremy Clarkson's intonation.

The selection of hosts is a little dubious too. I'm starting to think that they only asked for audition tapes in an attempt at viral marketing.

Hopefully it gets better, and they learn how to film cars on a track. But if I ever see Warren Brown on the street I'm going to punch him in the throat.

I reckon that was completely obvious once they announced that the hosts were driver trainers and various other media personell

yeah i have to agree with every one here, seemed try hardish and somewhat irritating,

also the host seem like what i would consider arrogant wankers if i was talking to them about cars.

but the show did get better towards the end think they settled in abit ill give it a chance for a few weeks.

and that road test was crap no conclusion that i noticed and as already pointed out unfair.

also they should run some more limo's would be funny comparision.

I think people have to realise that it is a Topgear franchise, why mess with a winning formula ?

However, clarkson is such a great personality, geuss it would be kind of difficult to find an Aussie clone.

I like it for the fact that I'm familiar with the currency. It's good to know that the lambo is AU$500,000, it stops you from getting your hopes up when they say it's only 5000 euros.

Also waiting for some local landmark references, like Liverpool Westfields, or orange grove Krispy Kreme's...
