I have a set of mags that I need to get restored (18x7.5), mainly just a sand blast and re-spray, but one will need slight welding where previous owner guttered the car.

Anyone recommend a good quality place around Sydney's north?

Also, how long do these places generally take to complete the process as my car will have to be off the road whilst I get them fixed.

Can't help you with northshore, but usually a week or so.

Of course if you can't find somewhere local, Magman in punchbowl (yellowpages or search this forum) is my suggestion. He normally charges ~$50-$100 a wheel.

Theres a place in Thornleigh near the station whose name escapes me atm but Ive heard a fair few good things about them. Other than that, not in the North but Magman and Morton&May are the other 2 that gets rave reviews

My biggest challenge now is getting some spare 18x7.5 in 5x100 or putting the car on blocks while the rims are being repaired.
