Reason why I need to know can be found here: http://nissansilvia.com/forums/index.ph ... pic=313099

Already got one quote done thanks to some of the more helpful posters there but still looking for a few more. Someone told me of a smash repairer in Alexandria that specialises in import repairs, has anyone been to them before or seen their work?

Needs to either be a justcar preferred repairer or very competitively priced work as justcar go with whoever is the cheapest of the two quotes I submit.

The most immaculate panel shop Ive every seen is Scientific Smash repair Broadway. It dam looked like a lawyer firm. It was sickening clean for a workshop- I didnt see any cars that were <40K. Apparently it is the biggest workshop in Sydney. The staff were in shirt tie and dress shoes, for a panel shop thats pretty excessive, but Im sure thats the reputation they want to keep. I was only delivering something there but the quality of cars they had- speaks for itself.

If there insurance company writes you a cheque for X amount and they tell you to fix it yourself. Rip it up in front of them. Always take it to your repairer, that way if they dont do a good job- you can kick butt.

That is their website. I remember walking past the joint most days and seeing similar things to what disco.tc saw - heaps expensive cars looking like mint when they left.

Go get a quote. :)

Scientific smash look awesome but Im not so sure they would give me and my lowly 180 the time of day considering some of the cars they get in there

I might give em a ring and see what they say. matraville isnt too far away. Just scared of driving it around in its current state because it will just give the cops more reason to hassle me :(

thanks guys.

EDIT: as suspected they wont take my on the work because they dont like my insurer. They said "its not like we dont want your business but we have never received work from AAMI or JustCar so theres no point in quoting". Sounds to me that if they DID want the work theyd take it for a quote anyway.

Oh well, I'll look around at some of the local places.

Im in the sutherland shire but can travel a small way outside of it (liverpool/milperra/tempe would be about the furthest id go). The whole rear end is fucked so I dont want to be driving out to woop woop just because I have no idea if the turbo is damaged or not (plus the potential defects of having smashed taillights and other damage)

the assessor is coming to inspect on friday based on the quotes ive got already, so if you can give me a place nearby thats good and will quote within 2 days im all ears.
