you replace it with an S15 multi-layered version and it wont blow for a long time if its done properly

no nissan will have them ALL. get the genuine nissan ones not aftermarket ones.

well, everything has to come off, if your manifold gasket is gone, then the turbo dump wont be far behind it. the last one is the one between the manifold and the head, you dont HAVE to do it, but i replaced them with the multi-layered gasket there too. its over $100 i think. but well worth it. the last thing you want is to have to rip it all off and do it again!

You can always totally eliminate the gasket to stop it blowing..

Weld you Turbo to your Manifold & seal it the whole way round.. you'll never have a gasket blow again..
Granted.. you may never get your turbo off your manifold though...Unless your prepared to attack it with an angle grinder..

I've had my studs tack welded to the nuts to stop the nuts from slipping due to vibration.. worked a treat :D

I blew my gasket not too long ago... man I never want to do that replacement job again... Crazy idea on the welding btw. Doesn't sound half bad if your not planning to dick around with the turbo any longer

its not that bad of a job! first time it can be, getting the manifold off the first time was the hardest. i got some extra long ring spanners from repco and they did the job easily on the other cars ive done.

getting the banjo bolts back in with the stock oil and water lines is hard!
