Hey guys im looking at doing the suspension in my s14, now keep in mind im daily driving the car and i was looking at coilovers nothing to harsh now just wondering what your thoughts would be on the pedders extreme coilovers.
I have got a price fitted wheel alligned and all for $2050 do you think this is any good?
I know you can buy jap spec teins and so forth for about 1300 and up but im just weighing up my options and see what you guys think

Thanx Jason

i paid $1600 for g4's and that is installed allignment.
my honest opinion is that i shouldve spent that bit extra and buy proper coilovers.. im sure the pedders are btter than g4's aswell
i also dont know much about the pedders brand quality wise..
thanks andy

There is a good chance they are another brand rebranded to pedders.

So see if you can check that out before hand

peddlers may use another coilover brand with their own brand stamped onto it.

for ~2K you can get the monoflex tein coilovers. These are apparently best bang for buck at the moment, although the spring rates are set at 7/5 - f/r i believe.

if you want lower spring rates i would go for the aus spec tein street coilovers. they come in 5/4 springrates off the top of my head

Were you running these at Wakie on Saturday?

If so how were they?

+1.. I'd pick these over pedders for sure.

I paid $1750 for flex + EDFC delivered.. 10 000kms old :)

Unfortunately I cannot really compare them to anything as it was my first track day. On the softest settings they fill similar to stock, on the track I ended up having 4 clicks from the hardest in front and 8 click from the hardest at the back, which was much better. I guess next time I'll stiff them up even more.

Also my camber was all out: -0.5 in front and -3 at the back.

But overally I'm very happy with them, I just wish they could go an inch or so lower...

It's a shame we couldnt passenger that day, i would love to sit in a 15 with coilovers going around the track, as this will most likely be my next mod :)

One session I was a passenger in my own car when the instructor was driving - that was insane. Loved every minute of it. Even though he complained that the front had no grip he powered out on every corner.

which car were you in?
