So i got my renewal, last year when i bought the car i had to pay $613 for a CTP because it was out of rego and i needed to drive the car

Why is it that my 99 SS15 silvia costs $300 more than my 2001 S15 200sx because its an import?? its the same fucking car!!!!

anyway, who do you guys use? fuck paying $600 for it.

I switched to AAMI when I had my import 200ZR, NRMA wanted 560, exactly the same with AAMI was $330.

Never got comprehensive, everybody wanted about $4K a year for it because I lived in Redfern! There was a porsche 928 parked on street (i was in security park) that I saw everyday for 7 years without anything bad happen to it. <shrug>

AAMI said 614 i just got a quote

ive emailed the MAA wanting an explanation of why insurance companies can do this. when they state on their website they keep it 'fair' and other crap.

maybe its because its an import

fuck that im not taking that as an asnwer. imports are the same as other cars i dont see why it should cost more.

its the same like insurance for an import is more then if its a ADM model.

When i had mr GTR insurance was 3200.00 a year for the imported model. But because some R32 GTR were ADM for ADM it was only 2600.00 pa. sad sad so expensive too because i was under the age of 24

i can see the insurance companies using that as a reason to up the prices zei. especially the media attention that imports get these days. im paying around $600 for my 94 180sx...

im gonna complain, i want a proper answer not 'its an import' they are government agency so they have to do something about it if i complain.

Thats quite oddball, as the 200ZR was an import and me not over 30.

Did you call them up or is that the online quote-o-tron?

no i called them

imports cant be quoted online it appears, they arent in the list of vehicles.
