Post this in the Stolen car thread on NS.com NSW section. That will get a bit more exposure than here.

oh man, so these thieves probably know what they are doing if this car had a reasonable amount of security on it.

My friends & family bag me out about how anal I am about avoiding macquarie centre with my car but its an absolute no go zone!!

mac center, miranda westfield and kirrawee industrial estate are the the big 3 no go zones atm

though mac center has always been pretty bad, the other 2 are new to the game.

Been parking at Mac Centre for over 15 years without problems although I have heard of a lot of thefts. I'm very fussy about where I park.

Also, removable steering wheel FTW. Much harder to take the car if they can't steer it. It is a it of a legal issue though for a car that should have airbags.

You want to bait them, I am happy to help out.

Drive your car in, park it, walk through the centre, get into mine/friends/rental car, and come back in and park nearby, I got some wicked tint that you cant see through.

They try and touch your car, we arange for some 're-education' of these fuckers!!!

Me three, seriously.

I just bought a $500 Samurai sword off ebay. I'm keen to see how it handles car thieves.

PM me details, don't talk about it openly on the forums.

Honestly, after that many cars disappearing, I think that security personnel are involved somehow :-?

man i was just in thailand and i came out of a club, only to see some guy pull a samurai sword and gash someone's neck with it, then proceed to run after some other guy and slash his back up, it was crazy... i decided from this point that samurai swords are the bomb ha but yeh count me in for this
