most GTS-4's are auto as well. you ideally want an R33 GTR gearbox as the stagea runs that model's ATTESSA. pedal box is R33 or 34 GTS-t/GT-T,and the centre console is a stagea-specific part. the parking brake needs to be converted from foot lever to hand brake as well - R33 for that also.

I'm leaving my car auto as I occasionally use it for towing.

looking like a volvo is half the fun. they're almost a sleeper that way. normal people in local cars have no idea what it is...until it stomps them. a manual version would be even funnier. GTR-style 8krpm launches FTW!

Yeah, the 32gts4 manual box is weak sauce. the 33gts4 only came in NA so it's the same box if you manage to find a manual. Ratios are near enough to the same as other boxes. There's very little difference in ratios between 2wd and 4wd boxes. the biggest differences is in the diff ratio.

funnily you can generally get gtr boxes cheaper than r33 gtst boxes these days.

I was looking for a stagea to carry the pups and newly arriving baby - I couldn't find one -anywhere- with a cargo barrier, these things always turn up after the event. Lo and behold 2 weeks after I bought a bits-o-shi77y magna wagon a stagea turns up on j-spec with cargo barrier and about the same milage for around 2000 more than the magna.

I just did a quick search on tradingpost.com.au and there are 4 manuals for sale! I've never seen so many manuals up - 3 of them are rb25 ~$20K and one of them is an RB26DETT ~$25K (the dual sunroof one - woot!)
