Just posting some of the pics i took on the day. It was a great day, and the only car that smacked the wall was a commodore...

We were at the last corner under a gazebo next to a gravel trap... which turned out to be a blast because we got showered with hight speed gravel several times (pics 9 and 10).
Luckily i spun around just at the right time to save the camera and plug the beer with my hand! Always save the beer!

This orange s13 has an LS1 v8 in it... Made some serious smoke! Would be an awesome alternative to the rb20/25 swap as its lighter and makes mountains of torque.
If anyone saw the episode of top gear where the "vauxhall" monaro was put around the track by some jap D1 drivers may also agree.

i agree it doesnt sound too good on paper but it certainly performed well. Keep in mind the useable rev range on these is a lot wider so it kind of makes up for the lack of revs... just a thought.

The usable rev range is lower, and i understand what your saying an i can see the some of the good points of a LS1 i just think its abomination, i just think keep it jap. any way back on topic :D
