Tein super streets are good but dont have a seperate height ajustment, G4 are shit end of story, I've driven a few cars with HSD and not a big fan compared to some of the jap ones, but there ok.

Super streets are okay.

Id disagree about the G4's There certainly seems to be lemons but the majority do work pretty well and for what you pay they do the job.

In your experiance what makes you say they are shit end of story??

The day I find a set of G4's that dont leak in the rears or a set that you can actully feel the clicks when you try to adjust them or a set that alt 4 corners have the same amount of ajustment or a set that feel different when set from soft to hard, I'll change my opinion. Im not saying they all have all the problems but i've fitted about 5 sets of G4's to cars and not one set has been fine.

There is a good reason there cheap.

There is a good reason they are cheap yeah.

But if you have issues with them leaking etc take the insert back to just jap and they will replace it no problems.

Ive fitted heaps of them and only had minimal come backs or complaints about them. I dont go around recommending them but really for what you pay they are not a bad thing.

Most of the work I do on impots and the like isnt part of my day job usally after hours and the poeple have all ready bought them and I fit them, Of cause I tell them about it.

The place that sells them is explenation enought of the G4's quality.

I'd never recommend 2nd hand unless you know exactly how old they are,and how they've been treated.

super streets are fine for street only work. if you were going to hit the track occasionally, and wanted more setup options,I'd suggest you go with the flex.

HA's are a bit stiff for a street car.

they are but they feel alot better than what was on my car before - stock shocks and chopped springs :( and theyre not THAT stiff, you can def. feel alot of the bumps on the road but its not something that you cant get used to.

Agree with the other guys. Getting new is good, so for me when it comes to my turn to get I would be thinking of getting HSS simply due to the fact that its new and better than the stock. Than again I have experienced tein suspension and it felt good.

Sounds like youd be better off with some decent shocks and springs dude. Why the desire for coilovers?
