I promised Sergei and John at Version One that I'd make a post about their 180sx project car. Basically, this is Johns baby. He's responsible for all modifications and tuning and is incredibly proud of his achievement.
In the past, John has owned a 10 second R-100 and 10 second Series VI RX-7. He made the move to the 180SX because this car was originally for sale through Version One but they had it for so long because it was already modified from japan so Sergei decided to keep it and have a play around with it and left it in John's hands. This is or was (as of early March when I was last there) Australia's fastest stock internal S13!!!

Pass: 10.7 back-to-back 3 times in early march
John said that he didn't experience any dramas during the build and the next step for the project is internal engine work (forged pistons, billet conrods and a high volume oil flow system). He expects to get into the mid 9 second barrier with 430rwkw.
