Can anyone recommend a good dyno tuning workshop in Sydney to tune my S-AFC & ITC. I noticed Hills Motorsport are a sponsor, anyone tried them?

Cheers guys,

Aaron.

Ahh you got the ITC mate :) did you get all my messages about the one for sale earlier ??

Hills motorsport have a good rep from what ive seen written about them on here, and i know a couple of other people who have used them and have come away happy. Im yet to use them however.

Also try unigroup, you should find them very good to deal with. USTASA off here works for them so maybe drop him a pm and see what he has to say.. or check his profile and grab the number

Hope it goes well, my car should be all working soon so time to check the 'on road' performance gains i think :D

unigroup are pretty awesome, apparently they can fully tune your stock ecu with one of those daughterboards too

We like the Apexi Power FC :) Easy to work with plug-in computer. Probably the best bang for your buck ECU around.

We don’t like the itc and afc interceptor type products Apexi and a few other companies make. The way they just chop and change the signal from the airflow meter makes us edgy when big boost comes into play. To cut a long story short when you lean out the factory rich settings you also need to change your ignition advance (due to the different burning characteristics of the new mixture) to a more retarded figure. But with the interceptors like a s-afc it changes the AFM signal your stock ECU sees which changes both the fuel and ignition usually in the wrong direction (more ignition advance instead of less).

Honestly most places sell them to make $ and push a product that at best is a band-aid solution. For some cars it will work fine but for most it will bring nothing but problems.

Hope this helps.
