torrents dont work? i find that hard to believe. try adjusting the port it uses. i know some ISPs use the default port for torrents |

well ok i knew absolutely nothing what u just said. my comp is real fuked, its got alot of shit on it, and whenever i close a program it always stays open. i tried bit torrent before, but its like after i downloaded it, it wasnt on my comp, even after doing a search. |

get a decent antivirus like nav clean up on spyware using something like adaware but if its that fkd then i'd recommend a clean format and go from there i got heaps if u got any blank dvds |

i can help, get your windows disc out, format your computer and reload everything. its easier than trying to diagnose problems like that. i do it every 6 months or so to keep it running well also you might have spyware and other crap on it too. try getting an antispyware program and giving that a run over the top of it |

thanks guys, that might be my mission for the next week or so.. only problem is i dont know how to install my modem and other programs 
also i bought this comp with windows already on it, the store said that they have already put windows on my comp so i dont need the disc. did i get jipped? cheers! |

you SHOULD have got a copy of windows with the machine, legally they are supposed to provide a licence. but im sure not all shops do this. post on here if you need help, people are happy to help out |

yes i have to agree, limewire is good! and it doesnt come with all the crap that the new free version of kazaa comes with. ie spyware and lots of other rubbish! |

kazaa did it. dont use it unless you have an old copy of kazaa lite. limewire contains some crap, but a spyware scan will remove it and limewire keeps working fine. |

Download emule and type in 'option'. 
I've gotten about 14 new Vopt dvd rips in the past week. (note: i have no idea how much spyware etc is in the program so be warned) |
