I think the idea is ppl we take it to a printer who will print it and bind it... we do them ALL as a big group and then split the cost for the whole lot based on the number of people.

That was my impression... am I right l6a6w6s6 ???

I'll give the option for people to print it themselves if they will pay the cost of a CD. Otherwise, yeh I will see how many people are seriously interested, and shop around printing places to see how cheap we could get for a bulk order.

Calendar is 13 pages back to back printed, and I was looking at a 250gsm matt paper by laser printer. This is a slightly shiny thick paper with absolute perfect quality.

At my uni printing centre that would be 13 back to back pages x $6.30 for that paper, but that is just one type of paper at the maximum cost. I'm sure we can get it much lower if we bargain.

If anyone knows any printing places ask them for prices.

In the meantime I'll finish the calendar.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback, it makes my neglecting uni work I should be doing for this seem worthwhile. :)

hehe so u mean it's gonna cost $6.30 x 13 = $81.90
well if i understood that properly and it wasnt $6.30 for all 13 pages then i am definately out......sorry, but if it is $6.30 i am definately in.....anything around $15-20 and i am in............

looks wikid man, uni can always wait another year but u need a good calendar to keep u organised for repeating the year  hehe

nahh u'll b right mate!!!!! it's lookin 8)

I can't wait either.....

Its not really a club thing go... l6a6w6s6 has done this on his own, and I must hand it to him, he has done a great job from what I have seen :)

Maybe we will be able to commission him to make an offical SilviaNSW 2004 calender with member pics and activities in it !!!

Sounds cool! :D

I will be graduated and a professional designer in a couple of years, so make the most of all of this free stuff. Remember that i am not charging anything for the calendar except printing costs.

But donations are also welcome... :)

I scanned in the last images yesterday, and was just about to do the text to be placed on them this arvo. I have to finish it before the end of the month and uni period, because my pc at home is too old to run big photoshop files. Apart from that I am setup though, with A3 printer, scanner and digital camera.

Hopefully I will finish it and burn it onto a final cd either late this week or early next week.

Got any cheap ones for sale?

I was planning on upgrading at the end of the year if I had cash. Current spec is P2 333 with 64mb SDRAM, 4.3GB harddrive and normal CD drive.

I was hoping to buy about the cheapest new you can get, eg. P4 1300 with 256mb RAM, 40GB harddrive and CD burner.

Can you assist?
