i'm just glad i haven't been pulled over yet. i mean red p's (only til monday :D ), silvia, loud exhaust, known to take off quick from lights (not speeding though) and seeing more than the odd copper. maybe its cause i live on the north shore?

Living/driving on the north shore doesn't neccessarily make you safe. I got defected at the local servo while filling up fuel.

I also went to autosport and thought he did a fantastic job that was reasonably priced.

Don't rice up your car, don't drive like a dickhead and you'll be fine.

I live not far from where those "street racers" in commodores crashed into that old couples' car. I haven't even been pulled over for an RBT in a few years now.

Yet I see P platers in riced up excels and lancers getting pulled over all the time, usually after they've been weaving in and out of traffic for a few kilometres, driving as if they're trying to win a race (with people who aren't racing them). But even with these guys, I don't see the cops going over their cars trying to defect them.

the fines i got were both $78 dollars each. but the officer did say if he had his other book with him they would of been $200. not sure what the other book would of been though.

How does it work if they try to defect a car rego'd in another state? The same thing applies?
