I was moreso pointing out "leathal weapon", and the picture of a 31 :P

As if a GTR skyline's going to be racing a CRX :-?

GTR's are all wheel drive, so although they are quick they are safer than a modded 33 correct?
I'm sick of the fucking media jumping all over P platers when they have a crash, like we're the only one's that have accidents. What about the physco that tried to run me off the road? I probably deserved it tho COS I AM A P PLATER!

my exact thoughts.

I did like that they weren't pushing the ban high performance car line, and for the first time that I've ever seen in print, were supporting the sensible solution: proper driver training.

it's a shame people were hurt, but it was also a case of doing the wrong thing in the wrong place. it's a good example of what can happen.

I find myself actually applauding the media's response for once. this sensation is new to me.

Well, it was printed in 2002, long before they started pounding performance restrictions, and actually probably had saving lives in mind, rather than getting votes.

If they would've implemented some sort of defensive driver training course in 2002, imagine how many lives may have been saved up till this point.
