I have a job where I'm in and out of the car a fair bit and little things like just putting it in Park and not using the handbrake save time.

I was in abit of a rush so I whacked it into park (thought I did), jumped out of the car leaving the door open ready to jump back in. As I walk away I realised the car was reversing away!! At this moment I was a little stumped but began to run after the car, luckily I left the door open as I grabbed onto it and flung myself into the driver's seat and jumped on the brakes...

At this stage I was still a little stumped. I put it in park and pulled the handbrake up really bloody hard. I got out and saw that if I didn't catch the car, it was going in a creek! BLOODY HALARIOUS!

I should be a stunt driver! Although I have bruises on my legs and arms from landing in the car at an awkward position. YAY

Let the insults begin!

The funny part about this story is i am currently listening to the dudeson's theme!!! (they had the same thing happen with a truck....)

Ive done pretty much the same thing dude so dont feel too bad - Jumping out of a (running) hilux with a 3m drop either side, irrigation channel to the left, cotton field on the right, throw the door open, jump out of the car without releasing the cluch first, and hit the ground next to the back of the tray- going :o thats not meant to happen!!!!!

Glad to hear the gazelle didnt go to the waterhole for a drink!

Yeah it was the work car, 2 weeks into the job. Imagine calling up and explaining that one!
