After hearing opinions such as these:

though that sort of person is more likely to turn up,test drive it,then come back later that night and rip it off.

if you think illegally modding the car increases the resale, you're kidding yourself. if anything, you'll make it harder to sell at all,as most people will run screaming from a car like that. if it was std height, and just had the wheels,it would come across as less butchered, and they'd be MORE likely to want it.

'slammed on 18's with super low springs' (and std shocks) is not an intelligent or desirable state,no matter how often fast fours tells you otherwise.
people who think it is usually drive hyundais with chopped springs, and also think the auto salon is a car show.

Justin...

Wanted to ask your opinions on lowering it in the car.

Im thinking of selling my car in the not too too distant future.

Im thinking just leave it on the standard ride height.

It looks better lowered but practicality wise its alot worse lowered -especially by 2.25 inches.

So vote your opinion - lower it now, or leave it on the stock suspension and in the future the new owner can do what they want with the springs or new springs.

Heres some pics, on stock suspension:

lower it, with reasonable limits of course
this is my opinion though, and im sure even with comments like that justin would not be against everyone who lowers there car, mine was already lowered a bit more then 1.5" when i bought it, so it had a camber problem, the shocks are bilsteins so thats taken care of, and i have a set of rear upper arms to fix the rear camber problem... i went that route rather then going back to standard setup, better look/handling imo
also looking at some camber tops for the front camber problem... just an issue of money arrg

edit: in terms of resale, the car can always be put back to original height, and imo when i was looking at buying, i found cars with some minor mods such as lowering, and exhaust as more desirable, because i was going to save money from not having to do it myself, of course i wouldnt buy a car with chopped springs and/or a muffler which is just put over the stock piping, hanging there, the latter being something i actually saw done on a car when shopping around !

edit: ok just realised its 2.25" dropped, sorry ure pics come as x's on my pc as im at work heh, 2.25" is excessive and im guessing your having camber dramas, and tyre wear problems.. in terms of resale stay stock over 2.25 lowered, unless your attracting young mofos that love that camber look ;)

how about u lower the front and leave the back stock height, or maybe, lower the left side of the car, and leave the right side of the car stock....decisions decisions

point is, work it out yourself and stop creating so many threads about the height of your car.

Meh, another should I shouldn't I thread.

Anyhow... I say leave it. A buyer wanting it dropped will be happier to receive low springs in the boot than a buyer wanting it stock would be with the stock springs in the boot.

Oh, and yeah, I think it looks better at SRH too. In the pics at least...

Well Nismodified, in the other thread - everyone said it looked great lowered by 2.25 inches.

Now they are saying leave it at stock height.

Can you see any validity of this thread?

I can.

You/other forum members get to see some pics of my car aswell, so it should be okay.

You asked for it, i gave it.

In the other thread people told u you lower it, and in this thread they are telling you to keep it at stock ride height, so looks like your going to make another thread to break the dead lock?

You can leave it at stock ride height, so that you dont have to make a future thread about being defected again for having a car that sits too low.

Or why dont u leave it at stock height, so that it will be easier to sell your car, as i do believe you were telling everyone that you are going to sell and get an S15 (about 6months ago)

That way, ya can ask us if ya should lower your newly aquired black S15, either 1.5" or 1.75", as your not sure one which looks better, and of coarse u would like everyones opinion.

If you're happy with it leave it, if you aren't lower it.

If your selling it leave it alone, save your self the time and money then offer the lowered springs to the buyer for a hundred bucks or something.
