i see it more as a bodykit option....doesnt really make the car something that its not...afterall you can get them fitted at your subaru dealer...

but yeah type r badges on non type rs are pretty gay to say the least.

actually the gayest thing i have ever seen is a ford laser with a GTR badge on it....

ive got a type x rear wing on my 180sx dosent mean it is a type x 180 or that i am trying to make it look like one?

you can also get type x bodykits and buy the type x lights as well.....

but yes there are those idiot gts-t owners who like to call their cars gt-r when they are far from it. This is why i have completley lost interest in the nissan skyline as it has become such a "whore" of a car and everyone who dosent have a clue about imports drives one (except for the minority that actually appreciate the car)

I saw what was probably a fake GTR (R33) on Saturday night. Driven by this guy who was like 40 or something. GTR badge on the front bonnet (thought they put the badge on the front grille?) and one on the back. Had a quick look inside it and it didn't look like a GTR (it was dark though and i i'm no expert on what a GTR looks like inside, but I know its quite a bit different to the GTS-T). The front bar didn't look like a GTR one either.... looked kinda dodgey....
oh well....

the pumped guards front and rear sorta are easy to spot

thats the main give away. unless someones had the front guards and rear quarters welded in etc. then thats more rice than me!!

but i think on a gts a gtr grill and bonnet looks tens better than the gts bonnet. if i owned a gts r32 thats the only thing i would change from a gtr.

Theres this r33 gts going around with wide ass pumped out mouthaaa fuckeNnn guards, rolling on p-zero, semi slicks, 330 wide or something, wit a gtr kit i think, with a rb26 init (i think) .. in which i think should be entitled with the gtr badge, but with the "i piss on" gtr's and 'gtr wanabes'

so I should take the GT-R badge off my Vortex??

Hehe i got the WHEELS magazine from 1985 that has a review of the vortex in it. (non-turbo, turbo wasn't in australia til 86).

They say it rocks your socks, til you try and flog it then they complain fo all the same handling defects that i've complained about, hehe.

But much was fixed in the turbo edition.

I FOUND THIS TOPIC VERY UPSETTING.

i , for one, drive a s15 with alot of jap parts and i drive it well (we can all brag abit now we cant see our faces). i love the car and many others do too.

however, it is my dream to drive a gtr-badged gtst so that everyone will know that i masturbate all the time and love to wank, both behind closed doors and in public without shame.

all achieved easily just by them seeing my car.
