no no no......u 've got this all wrong!

on the s13 & 14 models (not 15) u can easily "recalibrate" the odometer so that it is up to date w/ the log book..ie if the book is stamped to 60,000km then u "adjust" the odo to 60,000.

of course the body work of the car needs to be consistant. get it buffed, get it detailed, maybe even put on some new tyres.

no one is a saint (really!)
