Thanks dude.

I'm sorted - they managed to get pads in.

When I get time, the pads are coming off so I can trace around them (since Nissan Japan decided that my car needed two kinds of brake caliper, there's two different kinds of brake pad for my car) and I'm upgrading to a set of sports pads.

Sounds like a good idea if your wore them out that quick. I seen a Three fidy yesterday with 35k needed four tires front and rear pads and front rotors. must be driver by a faily excited owner.

I've done significantly less than that, and I'm on my second set of pads, some of my tyres have little to no tread on the edge (I just bought a set of 350Z Track rims with brand new rubber which I put on), though they probably are legal, and the brakes have been machined once.

I do take my car out on a fair number of car club cruises, a few track days, as well as my own various drives through the country. When I commute I rarely open it up or push, unless I'm running later than usual for work.

A mate of mine had a 200.. he was happy that he wasnt getting any brake dust on his rimz... we later found out that the front brakes werent workin at all and the brake fliud linings were blocked... he had worn out his rear brakes in 3 months...

check to see if all your brakes are working... i've never been in any three fidy's before but i bet the warnings would light up if there was a brake failure...

The brakes work. How well, I don't know (and unless I can get a drive of another 350, I won't know). The car hauls up well enough and, if the brakes didn't work, chances are I would be decorating some tree by now.

looks very photochopped though.
the perspective is all wrong on the cooler and opening in the front bar.
Also the piping doesn't seem to line up with the cooler end tank.

It is photochopped. I know that because its from www.photo-chop.com ;)

The lights and the front rims look especially fake, but that intercooler doesn't do itself any favours.

I really don't like the Veilside Series II and III kits for the Z33.

I don't recognise the first bumper (but I know I've seen it somewhere before) but those two round holes...it does the car no favours.

i am from the auto trade myself and we regard customers as revenue. we dont really listen but rather we try to punt off to the fickle public anything we can sell.

thats why nissan didnt listen to u.

in future one should always try to get a friend or relo to fix your car. that way u wont be screwed.

the world is a tough place . :D

Until you try to sell the car, and your log book doesn't have any record of servicing, especially not from an official dealer service centre.

Log books don't "add" to the value, but most punters are a bit wary of any car whose log book is rather empty...
