I went into sydney today to look at cars and left very dissapointed. I travelled along Parramatta road from before Granville all the way into the CBD, stopping in all of the yards that had an import out the front. There was only 3 S13 Silvias, and 3 180sx's...what happened to all of the yards that used to be full of these cars? Is it just that they were getting old?

All of the cars were also not that great in condition and the cheapest 180sx was $17,999 and a '96 non-type X model was $25K! Places are full of Skylines and Soarers...

I did however see QIK-02T and CMY-05X, QIK-02T did a nice flyby and the BOV scared the shit out of my mum ROFL, well done. Oh and I saw some chicks' skirt blow up in the wind, so it wasnt a total loss. 8)

I know of a very nice 180 for sale in my area and can get in touch with the guy. Heaps clean looking, black paint, front mount, exhaust. I totally like the car, if you want some info on it pm me, he said he wants about 16K. Welcome to drop me a pm about it.

It was going out of sydney, somewhere near Ashfeild I think...Im not to sure about the suburb. It was along the road where Tempe Tyres is. About 3.30 sat. arvo?

EDIT: about the 180sx, thanks for the offer and it sounds great- but I am determined I want a silver, or light coloured car this time. Black is just too hard to keep clean.

Yeh, sounds right. I think I was just browsing at different cars along there that day. I did not spot your car, would have said hi or waved, high beamed, flashed.

No worries about the 180, just letting you know. Silver 180's are very nice too ..

I'll keep my eye out for any nice 180's/silvias and let you know if I see one that you might like, what sort of car are you after - specs/budget - let me know.

I wasnt in my car, otherwise you prolly wouldve seen me.

Anyway, Im looking for either a '93 S13 Silvia (ie, very clean example, last year of manufacture) or any 180sx over 1993, in good condition, manual, turbo. Stockish if possible. Looking to spend under 20K.

the cars arent bad, but they're asking rediculous prices and the guy that came to talk to me seemed to not know diddly squat about 180s....just go in with the cash, and rip the cunt...i reckon you can knock 3-4k off if you play it right....

Topline motors at lansvale.
Its on hume highway just before the Lansvale Shells petrol station

These guys always have 180sx, Though I personally think the guy there is a full blow ass.
He was trying to sell me stock s14a for 21k, which is a reasonable price at the dealerships. What pissed me off was he tops it off by saying someones gonna buy the car on the weekend so if you want it, better buy it now. 2 months down the track, what do you know, its still there.

They have nice cars there but dont know about the conditions of motor as he wouldnt allow me to do a compression test.

Oh also, theres a place in Alexandria that has plenty of 180sx. The bloke there told me he was the only importer in Sydney that imports 180sx. In his workshop, there were only 180sx. If his the only importer, i'm sure you guys can find it with ease. He was probably blowing it to me. BUT all his 180sx werent complainced yet except for 3 (outta about 15).
