Nah, shes not a bogan mobile. Its one of the old Ford Landau's, 1974 model which was bought by my grandfather in 1976 and sold to my mother in 1989 and passed onto me.

Its got 2+2 bucket seats, origional leather interior and electric everything, they didnt sell real well over here 'cause Aussie bogans cant work out how to wind the windows down  eheh!!

Poor ol thing, its in mint, origional condition, even got the ugly hubcaps they stuck on them but I cant find the money to keep it on the road, so it sits in the garage up in Pt Maquarie.

Its a luxo-old dudes barge, then again I aint gettin any younger so I'll hang onto it until Im fat and can wear a bowls hat, clogging up the roads making life shit for young arseholes in S22 Silvias

LOL cmy180, alot of my mates are country boys with their v8 utes, always give me shit like "so where's the other half of your engine??" the standard "only milk comes in 2L mate, don't you know that?" lol rather funny considering my car's a second and a half quicker than their fastest ute lol

well, actually QIK180, since neither you or any of us have been down the 1/4, I don't think you can really claim that.....

And about that Landau: Man, that car has POTENTIAL.... Does it have 4v heads? I know the factory hp rating was 290, which is only 10hp off the 4v headed GT so I wouldnt be surprised. If so, 450 hp is just a set of extractors, high comp pistons, cam and a new intake away!!!!

Also, what colour is it? my fav is black with black vinyl roof.

If you ever want to sell it, post on this forum cos I LOVE the Landau!!!

My 2 cents.... A street machine/cruiser/performance car has to have street cred, adn unfortunately it is VERY hard to get 4cl to have street cred... it's a simple fact that people LAUGH at done up 4cl cars and pray to good v8's on the street, and for me, that's what cruising is about. Also a v8 will ALWAYS have more potential than a 4cl. I mean, the only reason for someone to buy a 4cl car is cos they cant afford to drive a v8, right? Cos in the ideal world we'd all be driving s/c big blocks and not fuel efficient econo boxes.

V8's have more potential???? Maybe only down the 1/4 mile. Take a well sorted late model turbo and it will eat v8s in handling, braking as well as having just as much grunt.
A 9 0r 10 second GTR can still brake and handle at the end of the straight while the big, heavy V8 locks up the brakes and body rolls into a series of flips before ending up on its roof!
V8's are for people who like paying mega fuel bills and for people who are lacking something in the downstairs department!!
