Yeah I must say, thanks for the support and sympathy guys. It's nice to get people who understand. No matter how many times you tell them, some other people just don't understand. It's not just a car :-)

Hey, was your car at Shogun because I went with my friend there about 1-2weeks ago to drop off his SC400 to get complied and the guy went to hosiptal because of some injury to his hand/arm and couldn't do the compliance....

Yup - that's them!

They seem like really nice blokes, so that's why I'm going to trust them until I see evidence of anything dodgy

They've found 2 cars for me to choose from aparently - I'm going to look at the today/tomorrow hopefully. Both 180sx's, so although not sileighty they sound ok - one of them is a 97 model with an aftermarket hoover, so that's promising!

Well I'm getting pretty sick of these guys now, I can safely say. It's been nearly a month since my car was stolen, and I still have absolutely nothing to show for it. I just spent the better part of an hour waiting for the guy to show up and trying to call his mobile. I finally get through to him, and he tells me that he hasn't managed to get the green 180sx for me to take a test drive of. Understandably I tell him I'm pretty pissed of and sick of wasting my time, seeing as this is about the 5th time he's done this to me.

Anyway, he comes up with some lame arsed excuse like "well, you keep hassling me so it's hard". For fucks sake - because of him my car was stolen, and it's been nearly a friggin month. Of course I'm hassling him - it's because he's taking so fucking long to get his shit together. So i told him I was sick of all this, and I'd rather just settle over a cheque. He said he'd call me back in a few days when he had the car in his hands.

If I don't hear from him in 3 days, He'll be hearing from the courts.

Just get your lawyer to give him a call and calmly explain the situation. Hopefully then he gets his arse in gear.

Yup, I'll be putting the call through on Tuesday from my lawyer, and I'll be sending him a letter of demand on friday if there still isn't any response. I just don't want it to go that far because it's a fukn hassle, so I hope he gets his act together and saves me the hassle of sueing him. Personally I don't know why he'd even try to fight it, because he knows he can't win. Still, he's got 3 days before the fit hits the shan.
