Two weeks ago I bought an ARC FMIC kit from a reputable sponsor on NissanSilvia.com. I clarified with him twice, that it was definitely for an S13, and I was told it was. I made it very clear that it had to be a bolt up affair, and I was assured it was.

It was delivered, and after spending a couple of hours taking all the stock gear off, it turned out that it didn't fit and was for an S14. :x

I emailed the seller who basically said 'send it back for a refund'. So, after wasting hours of my time, making my car undriveable, I was supposed to take time out of my working day to go to the post office and pay $60 to send it back to Perth...

I tried again with another sponsor, this time I decided to go with an ARC SMIC. I explained my predicament I had had with a previous sponsor, and he assured me it was DEFINITELY for an S13. Not only was it DEFINITELY for an S13, it was also BRAND NEW.

I paid him, and he sent it in the mail. I got a call from the sponsor:
"By the way, that was a typo on the website, it isn't new - but it is in good condition." Whatever.

It arrived, and it was in good condition. So I try again, this time thinking that I'll definitely have my car running by late tonight.

Not so.

It would appear that this intercooler is for a Stagea, not an S13. So I'm pretty much up shit creek again, and hoping I can get a refund from him.

All this is just fucking ridiculous. I seriously can't believe after paying so much I'm still at square one, all from people that are supposed to be trustworthy sellers.

Before anyone asks, I didn't want to cut a hole in the battery tray or hack up the front bar because I'm wary of defects.

i rarly buy off sponser, most are over priced. but so far no probs

have you got some prices of streeter/ streetdancer ???


tell them to pay for postage as it was the wrong product

Well I try not to buy off them often, usually I get shit from Yahoo Japan, but freight is very expensive and it takes ages.

Because I was looking for something so specific I would have bought it from just about anywhere in Australia.

Pity I've been so burnt :(

That guy is a total douchebag, he took about three weeks to deliver some solid engine mounts to me.

Send him a letter of demand.

Don't get me started on bad service and wrong parts.

Seeing as I drive a stagea,if you have time,shoot me a pm with a few pics of the thing and how much you want for it. we may be able to work something out.

I was interested in your S14 fmic to try and fit into the stagea... an smic FOR a stagea might be even better...

The reason I bought the kit off him was id bought 2 sets of 40mm dmax guards off him for the 180 ages ago and he was really good so I expected the same this time around

Yeah race spec is a fuckwit, i waited 3 mouths for a new kit only eneded up with a refund when i called him a few times a day and emailed him a few times a day telling him he was full of shit and stuff.

Called up monkey in QLD 2 weeks ago on wendsday oreded a kit and it arived on friday, awsome service after dealing with tarek the fuckwit.

Most NS.com sponsers are fuckwits, but never had a problem with street dancer or cj motors.
