Don't you just love them, I was at work a few nights ago and noticed a decent amount of water pouring into the passenger side floor from underneath the glovebox and when i got back in the morning I was told there was something wrong with the air-con and it was being sent to toyota (the car is a yaris) to get it repaired.

The following night I get back to work and our office manager informs me that toyota pulled it apart and said a part of the air-con was broken but instead of ringing my boss and saying look its broken do you want us to fix it? they just put it all back together and sent it back :x so now it has to be taken back down again to actually get it fixed

Sound like your heater core, All they (probly) did was presher test and pull of a few intierer trims to conferm it was the heater core.

And it only takes about a hole day to pull a dash in and out and pull apart a heater box and replace a core. So i probly wouldnt  cause you dont know what ur on about.

Plus its comen for dealerships to rebook for big jobs, cause all the hours in the day are alocated for.

sounds to me like the drain for the evaporator is blocked. if you had coolant coming in the floor they'd be a bit more worried.

as jay said, most big jobs get re-booked if they're not too serious as there isn't time available in a usual day if the car wasn't booked in for that concern to do much about it right then and there.

and whay are you complaining about a company car? are you paying for it?

Justin...

I just LoL'd now also!..

I wonder whose in the lead for the LoL count?!..

On topic: As long as Toyota is fixing it under warranty (it'll be free right?!), all should be good. Will you get a courtesy car in the mean time while it's getting fixed!?..
