Okay well in my suburb there was a huge crackdown tonight, there was EPA setup and police were bringing in any car they thought they could get somethign with.. i saw then strom through traffic to pull over this one guy who just had a set of wheels and tell him to follow them to the car park where the epa was..
they were also hammering people for speeding.. the set up 1unit on my street (which is your average quiet street) and in about the 10min i was watching they caught about 8 people.. and there was about 15 highway patrol cars in the epa car park ready to go back out again :/

yeah i remember that night, was pretty funny tho. my mate was down at the epa standing there annoying the officers whilst they were trying to defect people, haha. apparently they got alot of gemini's too, LOL. have you ever stopped and noticed how many gemini's are in our area man?! and 90% of them have chopped springs no doubt,

Hehehe thats cause there is only 2 types of gemini's around these days:

1. Immaculate ones driving by old ppl who have owned them since new.
2. Completely unroadworthy street beasts with so many defects I dont know were to start.

what was wrong with police cracking down - I wanna see more of it

There are simply too many idiots on the road who should know they cannot get away with it

My only problem with cop crack downs is they always seems to get the wrong ppl.

i.e. I have been followed through Bondi in my Silvia by a Cop car who let 2 people clearly run a red light and almost have an accident cause he wanted to follow me and my g/f and 2 friends cause we were driving an import !!!!

I mean if you have seen my car it looks normal and it is pretty much stock (except for the diff wheels etc), so its not like he has ANY chance of defecting me... he was just waiting for me to do something wrong.

Crack downs are fine... as long as they are NOT selective....

Don't get me started on cops. Ive had 12 separate defects two big fines Neg drivin and burnouts. I get followed to and from work regularly and I don't do anythin wrong! They are a revenue raisin pain in the arse
My house got broken into a month ago and was stripped. The cops said it is to hard to find the people that do it and admited to my parents that they would rather pull over P platers than find the real criminals.There're a lazy pain in the arse handbrake on society!
