As I need to have my daughterboard tuned soon, I want to proposition him about a good members price for that, after I find out if he is any good.

You could offer to sell him your story (your copyright) or you could inform him that you are fully within your rights to take legal action against him.

I would not be settling for a crappy 5% - 10% discount. He is infact still making money off you.

In fact taking up his discount offer is almost like saying, go ahead rip off my articles, we'll even pay you to do it.

Most solicitors have a first engagement free of charge. You should investigate that line of attack before settling.

many articles are written by honest nissan enthusiasts on the few community websites ie nissansilvia.com silviansw.com silviaaustralia.com etc etc. These people write these articles for the benefits of other members/nissan owners, not for businesses to make money off.

spreading words of wisdom to fellow members is what this is all about.

Don't settle dude. (least not just for a crummy discount)
