Post subject:  i still hate trucks!!!!-but the sil will be back PG4 update
driving back through liverpool today, on terminus road just before the turn off to the hume highway

driving along in the left lane, glanced across thought "is that truck merging"

then bang scrape crunch and im stuck on the gutter

tried to move foward but it was stuck

drivers side stuck closed crawled out the passanger door

look round the car and got very sad :(

had to wait 4 hours for the cops to show up

mirror gone
gaurd dented and cuts all through it
door dented in and wont open
10cm ish dent in the lwer gaurd near where the Q's badge is
rim scratched probebly buckled
control arm or something broken

anyone want any sil parts :(

thats the 2nd car ive been driving gone because of a small truck :evil:

and it was a really nice sil to :(

i had just convinced myself not to sell it the night before :(

happened at 2 in the arvo today

cops only showed up at 6 and it was cleared by 630

Actually I must have been like 100m away from you at about 3.30 this arvo. I turned onto terminus near the car audio shop and DJC furniture but went the other direction

truck driver admited fault after the cops finally showed up, was a good guy though, didnt try to start a fight ect, and i kepp calm suprisingly (not alot that can arc me up but i thought someone wrecking my car i would have snapped :-? )


but apparently his insurance runs out today or tomorrow :o

im supprisingly calm and colected about this whole thing, im very supprised because i had quite the attatchmet to the car hopefully i dont just have a randome outburst at a minute thing tomorrow :-?

Oh btw. I hate trucks too. No real reason except they compression brake on the hume highway near my place and they are big and scary

yeah ringing round with the insurance companies tomorrow, dont know how much help mine will bw though only got 3rd party


i know it sucks so much to see it ruined, will take a bit to get it back to its former level of awsomeness.


but after purswastion from tmb im thinking fixig it might be higher up on the cards than i thought .... again it all depends how much money i get

sometimes you have to pay your excess to get them to lodge a claim for you, but when its over and done with you get it back if you werent found at fault. they will help you out though, they can at least provide advice.

some insurers dont need you to pay your excess up front at all and will make a claim for you.
