Yeah, that's a given, hence the whole double demerits thing at the drop of a hat,but what's surprised me was the huge volume of cars out there. it's easily double the level last christmas, and a good five times the usual level.

I just found it surprising that all of a sudden, the resources are there for this kind of thing, when the rest of the time they're crying poor and that they're regions are horribly under-manned.
there aren't enough people on hand to enforce the law,and respond to other complaints in a timely fashion,if at all,yet when there's double-or-nothing cash to be made, they're out in force. funny that.

you can legaly engineer the exhaust

I was in the cefiro

You can't engineer an exhaust that is over the legal limit, which i highly suspect mine is

Jeez thats unusual for the Nth Beaches, the cops are pretty fair over this way with mods. :o

I meant North Steyne Drive in Woodbine

LoL cause they often set up an RBT on North Steyne Dr at Manly

haha thats right, the whole of woodbine has street names taken from the northern beaches. I'm not joking by the way, it really does.

Not just Northern Beaches, just beaches in general

contrary to what you'd expect (or even hope for) , town planners aren't the most imaginative people out there. hence all the repitition of names, and similar overall design to others in most of the newer suburbs.

then there's the overall design. company-built estates are the worst. I reckon rats have an easier time getting the cheese out of their mazes. haven't they learned anything from the east? one road in and out of an area creates problems.

almost everyone from out west complains about how bad my area is when they come over here. I feel the same about finding someone's place in somewhere like harrington park. the roads are nice and wide in contrast to here, but you go 'round and 'round in circles more than you would on a skidpan day.

yeah justin, its something i complain about everytime i drive through bondi junction. you have to go through the most ridiculous detours around the place instead of a mere right turn.

The only way to avoid that is to put on a quiet exhaust, plumb-back your BOV, enclose your pod (or get stock airbox) and make your car legal height.
These are the main things cops are interested in.

i want to clarify somthing, legal road height is 10cm off the ground right? could someone justify this for me?

Author:  too_much_boost [ Tue Jan 29, 2008 11:49 am ]
Post subject:

Yes thats correct. No part of the undercarriage is allowed to be closer tham 100mm from the ground, including the exhaust

Post subject:

you know what that means!!!!!

im going to get the TEIN COILOVER HOOK and adjust the height or should this be done at a suspension/tyre shop to ensure that when the care is raised its raised correctly and balanced?
