Don't go over board or anything.

You'll probably get the car up to legal height, decide it looks shit, and put it back and run the risk.

I raised mine on the weekend. OMFG it looks crap.

you know what that means!!!!!

im going to get the TEIN COILOVER HOOK and adjust the height or should this be done at a suspension/tyre shop to ensure that when the care is raised its raised correctly and balanced?

hey mate. i have coilovers on my car and have about 3 sets of rims and i do all height adjustments as accurate as i can. then i have a bloke who looks after suspension etc.. and he does allignment :)

The only way to avoid that is to put on a quiet exhaust, plumb-back your BOV, enclose your pod (or get stock airbox) and make your car legal height.
These are the main things cops are interested in.[/quote]

according to the epa plus the inspection station who does work for the epa, an enclosed pod is illegal aswell, even if its enclosed in a std airbox.. hence why my car still isnt ready to be inspected over yet... anyone got a cefiro airbox? :D according to nisswreck a r32gtst is the same, however i dont believe them lol

Blu80: it would be best to get the height and alignment done by a professional for best results.

Mr Bean: Why would they have to be different? both cars run the same engine in the same basic chassis and were made at the same time.
the snorkel may be different but the airvox itself will most likely be identical. the one my wagon came with is identical to an R34's...

i know tmb's NA cef one is nothing like my r32 air box, though i reckon an r32 box could be made to fit with minimal hassle

I haven't even really checked the NA one for size yet. You are probably right though. I guess its a race to find an R32gtst one now!

try and find a good condition r32 one for much less. Mines held together with cable ties as 2 clips are missing and it still cost me 70 by the time it got to my door

having an account makes no difference in my experience. I get the same bored sounding voices on the end of the phone each time I call up and order something through work, and we don't get any favours, despite having spent double your quoted amount quite easily with them in the last year or so.

for example: we put a replacement RB25DET into a customer's R33 the other week. cold off the street they quoted him $1950 for supply of a long engine. I called up the next day from work and asked what our price would be. $1900... wow,I can put my kids through school with those sort of discounts to trade... if I had kids...good thing I don't I guess.
