What he said ^^^

Realistically, this is the sort of price that engineers should be charging.

Can you PM me his contact details?

Anthony; I know a fellow who charges $150 usually. My friends' R31 that has about a kajillion mods cost $250. (Rollcage, fixed back seats, S13 coilovers, S15 brakes, RB25DET, hydraulic handbrake, brake bias adjuster, powerFC, FMIC, 18x9.5" wheels etc).

Hes based right near me too. Go team!

Does he make the certificate at home of microsoft word? or does he use a typewriter? can you show us a copy of it here just want to see what it looks like.

So I copped my first defect today...

too_much_low
too_much_loud
too_much_pod

Obviously an engineers cert wouldn't help in the slightest here as I couldn't legally get these things engineered anyway

The HWP guy was quite good about it though. Gave me 21 days and no fine, but said next time he would be bending me over.
He looked for other things but said everything else is cool, noting the BOV was plumb-back etc.
Interestingly though he said I could put a silencer in the exhaust to pass, even though i didn't think that was legal since it is removable.
Luckily he didn't notice the inside of the front tyres were on the canvas.

I guess this is just an excuse to do the things I was going to do, but kept putting off

HWP followed me onto North Steyne and pulled me over straight away for a 'Random' (Targeted) breath test

I've seen as hell of a lot of RBT practitioners out on the roads this weekend. they're blitzing harder than I've ever seen before in 15+years of driving.

is the state govt. short of cash atm or something?

Justin...

cant believe it, which car where you in?
you can legaly engineer the exhaust and thats bout it, pod filter big no no even if enclosed and ride height obviously you cant either, my car was engineerd for exhaust including a db level and an emissions test carried out at botany main rta testing.... its logged with teh rta, however the reason i need mine tested is because the engineer's wasnt logged with the epa. once i pass though it will be, then it's very hard to be asked to do it again by police.
