So I'm washing my car today and giving the wheels a good clean from the gathered brake dust and I find out one of my wheels is missing its valve stem cover!!

These aren't the boring black plastic valve stem covers (if they were it wouldn't be an issue to replace), they're actually polished metal ones and I'll be stuffed to be able to buy a single valve stem cover of the same kind......

Its school holidays once again and chances are its probably some prick kid who wants just one for the bicycle or tricycle they got for christmas.....

(Funny though, when I first got the car and noticed the valve stem covers, I thought to myself, I'd hate to lose one of those....LOL)

I had silver metal covers on my 180sx when I bought it (freshly imported)... they disappeared within weeks.
Replaced them with CHEAP (and I do mean cheap) ones - though still silver - and they were stolen as well!

So now I've got the run of the mill black plastic ones, which have never gone missing.

I find it very hard to believe that someone would be so pathetic as to steal them... but obviously there's people out there who will.

Its probably just kids.

I remember a few years ago car badging was pretty rampant in my area. Kids used to walk around with with Mercedes badges around their necks, lol, watta crackup.

All the members of my family have had their cars badged at least once.
Around this time I caught a young man (16yo) and two of his mates trying to badge my mums honda. The dog was barking so mum looked out the window and saw em, and come and told me.

So me and my lil bro caught up with them, confronted them, and asked them to return the badge from my mums car and all will be forgotten. The two mates ran. They were younger (14-15). The hero then pulled a screwdriver on us and told me to "get fucked!"

I wrestled the screwdriver outta his hands, then quickly overpowered him (I was a security guard for about 4 yrs and have been in my share of controntations).

We took him back to my garage, got my bro to grab some cable ties and then cable tied his hands up like the cops do. Its great how they come in packs of 100. I only used a couple for my stereo system install a few years ago and theyve been layin in the garage ever since. I knew they'd come in handy one day, lol.
I left him lying on his belly for a couple moments with his hands tied behind his back contemplating what i would do. The little prick nearly pissed his pants, he mustve thought he pissed off the mother of a serial killer or something. He was screaming blue-fuckin-murder.
I put him in the car and drove him down to the local cop shop and explained the story to em. He started bawling once confronted by the police and had his parents called by them to collect him. Hopefully his dad gave him a sound beating, but even if he didnt, I'm sure the terror he ensued would have been punishment enough.
I did get warned by the cops tho that what i had done might been seen as kidnapping, espicially since hes a minor and next time to call the police.

Fuck em. Theyre gonna learn the easy way or the hard way. But the pricks GOTTA learn.
