I'd like to add to this my utter f**king disgust towards car manufacturers adding those rubber strips to every new car's bumper/door design so peeple car dodgem-car park. WTF

if you see them do it.take their door mirror off with a power bar. works for me.

that's my standard retaliation for most parking incidents.

Or..

You can keep a 'multi purpose' crow bar under your seat...

and if you see people making 'racing dents' on your doors with theres,
then you can feel free to give them 'racing striples' with your crow bar :)

crow bars can get you into trouble,as they're seen as a breaking and entering tool...

my power bar is 36" long, solid stainless, and has a 1/2" drive on one end, which is for attaching a socket to remove my car's wheel nuts.

that's the official story, and with the socket sitting in the centre console,a plausible one.
