Some dickheads smash my window and took my friends handbags which were in the boot.

i was parked in valentine st in the city, i was at sublime, some my friendz headed off first around 1:30 who had parked behind me, told me that my car has been smashed in. Came back to my car from sublime to find that the rear passager side window had been smashed. They only took the handbags (1 of the handbags had a mobile phone in it). amp, cd player, sub was all left intact i think the alarm must off scared them off. Also a hsv parked two cars away also got smashed in and that guy lost his laptop. So pissed off now my friends have to renew their cards, cancel her phone plan etc and i have to fix my window (which i dun have ne idea how much its gonna cost)

Does ne1 know wat i should d about the window
Should i goto wreakers and find a replacement
or should i ring someplace like O'Brian ?

when my car was broken into, they smashed the drivers window. got a quote for a 'new' (2nd hand) one that was around the 200 mark. if it was one of the quarter windows, i have no idea. cant be that expensive however

it sucks hey? cant drive anywhere these days. and the police are worrying about our cars while on the road. why dont they worry about people breaking into them.

next time park in cockle bay parking for $12 its a bit high, but its peice of mind. there is security there all the time wandering around

side windows cost a shit load for brand new,

the front window is the cheapest, which suprised me when i had to fix my smashed front.

but i have an R33, but hope this gives you some perspective on cost.

i found GM world (nsw) to be the cheapest for this sorta thing, and i dont think o brians can help you here, but its always worth a shot.

it shiets u off when this shit happens doesnt it....

Went to Just Jap (friendly guys) and got the 1/4 glass cost me $125 cheapest place i could find, its gonna cost me 50 bucks to get it fitted, at least it didn't cost that much but f*ck i'm still in a shitty mood.

Replacement windscreens are manufatured here in OZ but side and rear glass is baught straight from Nissan - Japan, that is why they are more expensive.
The rear for an S15 is $1650 while the front I can get for $150.

When my car got broken into i just went to a smash repairers to fix it.
Cost $130 i think.

Sux big time, at least they didn't take anything but the bags, i got my sterio stolen It didn't even have the face on it!!

When my car was broken into. The face was in the centre console along with a load of cds. they took the cds and left the whole stereo! Dumb!

Mind you i caught them at it so that is even dumber.

Dumber still, they had an S14 ECU and key to try to start my S13. I was confused. They prolly thought it was turbo! hahah sucked in to them i couldnt afford one when i bought it lol
