:( last night i went upto gosford to drop a friend off, anyway just got through the last corner and wasn't watching my speed i wen't past a cop car, they turned and followed me into the shell where i was stopping for fuel anyway, i got done for 82 in a 60 :o but this guy was more interested in my exhaust which came with the car from the car yard ex japan.....i tell this to the cop and he goes *how was it complied?* i said for him to contact the car yard :D , after looking at it for 5 mins he asks me to start it and bring the rev's upto 2,000 which i did, his comment was *hmm its quiet*(he sounded disapointed), so i got a fine for the speeding but i got away with not having to get the car checked for loudness or having to change the exhaust

Shit happens! Drive properly and that wouldnt happen to you, besides, what were you doing taking that corner in a straight line? If you had been getting it sideways through the corner, Im sure the copper would have not been as dissapointed. :P  So how much was the fine anyway Mike?

Yeah.. its not a bad run! only thing that made living in gosford fun :) Cops have started patrolling that road alot more, so you must exercise cautious speeding

when we lived there the missus used to take the first left at about 90-95 and when no-one was in her way she'd easy hold a bit over 80 through that second kinda double-left. this all in the outside lane of course, i could never convince her to use the whole road though

when you say patrolling do you mean driving up and down alot more? koz there's not really anywhere for them to sit on the way up is there? well not before the 60 zone i mean.

and gosford.... no fun ???? where have you been? head down to mann street on friday & saturday nights, you'll see at least 2 or 3 people......sometimes

Well it shows who's more intelligent doesnt it. Its a public road for fucks sake keep left at all times, there is traffic up there at all hours. The authorities have taken to hiding at Mt. White for thise who are interested.

LOL!

QIK180 is right though. How much fun would it be exiting the corner on the wrong side of the road to find a car coming head on.

Well fortunately for my intelligance (did i spell it right? lol) you two don't know the road we are talking about....

The 'other side of the road' is separated by about 500m of steep cliff and bush.

I'm not having a go at you guys, more agreeing that if I was suggesting it would be cool, or fun, or whatever to cross into the path of oncoming traffic.... well, it's sad to think that there are people who cannot see a problem with that (sad for the poor sucker coming the other way).

The road we are talking about is two lanes in the same direction all the way up and you would need go go gadget something to get to the traffic coming down the hill
