Sorry about the damage and how things are turing out, but everything will work itself out. As the other guys said u have the other details so use that. Generally I hate the court system because it is so time consuming and lengthy for no reason.

Be careful of your neck and head injuries and get check ups after 6 months as well to be on the safe side.

Aren't they required to turn up to any accident that causes damage to either property or person before anyone involved leaves?

i rekon so many people get away without a ticket after rear ending someone. the cops didnt even want to know about the guy that hit me and drove off. cept i threatened to track him down and hurt him. yes again that threat to the cops gets them there really quickly!!

I got run into by a guy a little while ago, he had a patrol car sat behind him.

cop stopped, made sure everyone was ok then left, they refuse to intervene or do anything at all, unless someone has been hurt obviously.

It's lucky i actually looked at his license and i wrote down the details, i went to the police station at Dee Why last night and they were very helpful and are gonna track him down for me and let me know what happens. They are gonna charge him with neg driving after they take his statement but they know the accident was his fault.
No lights are broken, i am hoping its just the rear bar that got smashed, part of the boot is pushed in too, when the panel beaters take off the rear bar i hope there is no more damage. If he has buckled the chasis then i am going to sue him for the full price of the car. It's not enough that the asshole hit my baby, now he is trying to get away with it.
