Defected on the way home from our cruise today, from mods that were on the car before i purchased it.. so i shall be hastily purchasing a pod box/cover from anywhere i can get my hands on one, and getting my exhaust setup fixed... /le sigh :cry:

Campbelltown road...

No air filter enclosure - Buying enclosure for this so it's no longer a 'Fire Hazard' and such..
Exhaust supposibly over 90db - No biggy, i know this is false and will have it checked n slipped
Exhaust height doesn't clear 100mm from road height - Not out by much, previous owner chose a pretty crappy way to mount the exhaust, will be fixing brackets so it's now within the legal boundaries... just an absolute pain in the ass + fine...

Oh well, after this i wont have no more problems (i hope.... though they'll find something wrong outa nowhere and whack me again >_>...)

just buy a blitz sonic power air filter, big bucks but supposedly best airfilter out in the market.
comes with an enclosed metal casing can't wait to slap it on, supposed make a fully hektik' sonic' sound too cuz

lol.... oh shit i don't even know if you were serious there.. but er yah er... anyway I'm gonna jus enclose the current pod, don't really have a tonne of cash laying around i can go and spend on just an air filter + casing sooo needa have a fix with a cheaper alternative =/

just out of curiosity,what's the defect notice marked with for who can clear it? an AIS,an AUVIS,or something else,and what's the exact wording on the infringement?

nah it wasn't, i'm takin it down to liverpool exhaust today to get them to try fit my exhaust setup, then i needa run around tryin to either get a stock airbox or an enclosure for my pod... :cry:

-Let ya know the exact wording when i get my car back, left defect stuff in there at the exhaust place

Got a stock air box if ya need it. ill be at Holsworthy (4-5 mins away from liverpool exhaust)

haha... typo's = win...

looks like it wont be happening today... got a mate taking the car in tomorrow for me whilst im at work, getting the defects cleared and then goin to the rta to have it removed... soooo maybe tomorrow =o ? <so there will be more cops out there to try get me for more stock stuff>
