I was told off back in Feb by some irish guy that was jogging along in St John's street in Glebe.

I was driving up the alley way, aproaching the stop sign at the end, doing no more than 8km/h (digital speedo's are awesome).

As I pass between the 2 buildings, this jogger plows right into my guard, at this stage I am already riding the brakes, and snap the pedal to the floor, apply handbrake and get out.

This dickhead that 'ran into my car' proceeds to give me a lecture about how cars should watch where they are going, and give respect to the pedestrians, this arse keeps telling me "I am not hurt bother, but if it was a little child, it could have been so much worse brother!!".

After he tells me this, I point to the mother and child standing on the corner who waited to check for cars, rather than running across the road in front of a car, and also ask him how I should merge out from the 2 buildings next time, should I engage neutral, get out and push the fucking car up to the stop sign, or would I still have to watch for the irish patato lover that didn't see the car?"

In the end, I told him, 70kgs of human can stop faster that 1700kgs worth of Toyota Soarer, and next time he runs infront of my car on the streets while I am moving, he better hope he can run faster than he previously was, because my car will be moving a little faster.

Pedestrians suck, and the pedestrian council sucks more!!!

in dee why the other week, some dick decided to do this. so, i threw it back into 2nd, floored it, and 6500rpm + sideways action heading towards this dude made him run like no fucking tomorrow. LOL.

Here is Mr Sruby pictured outside Cafe Prego, one of Mosman's latte-sipping congregation points. I don't know who this clown thinks he is but some of his proposals are completely outlandish. He believes that cars should pretty much be banned. He wants stopping in a 'pedestrian zone' (ie. pretty much everywhere) to be changed to 3 demerit points, among other car-hating policies.

He lives in my suburb, unfortunately I don't know where - but when I find out there are gonna be a series of 2am burnout wakeup calls for him!

That's similar to me most days. I occasionally do it with cars as well. the ones that pull up at side streets,and can clearly see that you're coming,and pull out anyway.
