Still in Japan its a lot more expensive as well as the rego and other onroad costs in asia would make it impossible for us young ones to drive a car. So in a way we should be grateful. Most people in asia are riding bikes and those damn fwd.

Hehe, all you need to do is find a way to cover your plates for the period of going through a toll point, then go down M2, onto M7, across to M5, then onto Eastern Distributor, then though the Lane Cove Tunnel (when completed), then back onto the M2......

OR

Go the other direction, and go M2, harbour tunnel, M5, M7, M2, LCT, Harbour Tunnel, and continue!!!

You could do this all friggin day and night, imagine the potential for unpaid tolls you could collect, and if they couldn't pick your number plate for some reason, and saw you going through the tolls every 2 hours, they would get mighty peeved I am sure.....

B.

Or one of those james bond style numberplates that flip over to reveal a different, and totally bogus numberplate....

they also don't need a car day to day,as their public transport is both reliable, and cheap. in Japan you can commute the equivalent distance of hornsby to wollongong with three or four stops along the way,and can time your trip to the minute the whole way. do we have an equivalent system here? no. hence,we drive ourselves, and get raped for the privilege.
