And neither do people in Toyota dealerships.

Where I used to work,you had second year apprentices training the first year's how to work on cars. the SOP was for the first year's to work with a qualified mechanic for about 3mths,and then they're on their own,with the other apprentices around them helping them out when needed.

That is exactly the same at my work, Then they wonder why all there new mechs don't know fuck all. I'm lucky my year was the last one where we had a forman/boss that was real big on training, then he got a promotion and left :cry:
