i rmemeber sellin somethin for 21k different kids on NS.com offering me something like "15k cash and ill pick it up now" so i decided to see if he was for real and i said 'yeh ok come get it now'....never showed up

Just agree to the bullshit-low price and give them some ass wiping address out in the dessert. When/if they call to say they're infront of your place, tell them the car is sold, and that you gave them some wanker address you made up.

With a private sale of course its going to be cash. Unless I know the guy well enough to electronic transfer it and wait for the interconnect to clear (or pay me after they get paid), they're not getting the goods until I've got the lucre.
