Hey All

Was watching today tonight last night and once again they have deceided to do a report on "Hoons" as they liked to call it.

First it started off about a report on the new police task force called "middle easten task force" but some how got turned into police defecting modifyed car, and how the police are never going to let it go untill the boys (and now Girls) learn that its the wrong thing to do..

Personally i hate it when show like today tonight do these report because it just mean more headach and herasment (spelling) for the rest of us who dont do anything wrong on the road. So what if we have a sports car that modifyed or looks nice.. if we are not doing anything wrong on the road way the hell should we get bustered.

My mate got defected in fivedock from one of those operation, and all he had done was drop his girl friend off at home. After pulling him over for a "random breath test", they asked him to open the bonnet. All they could defect was the air filter and BOV (cops were to stupid to notice the intercool or screamer pipe).. and because they could only get him on the two part they made him follow them to the EPA, Were they got him for his exhust ementions (spelling). He drove a r32 GT-S,

anyway boys and girls, watch out because the police and media are at it again.

/rant over

i got defected in leichardt in one of those big operations a few weeks back when i was going for dinner.

my car was deemed defective, no big deal, i fixed it and got it cleared.

but yeah its typical of these 'current affairs' shows to make things worse. obviously there were no cats stuck in trees for firemen to waste their resources on, so they picked on modified cars again lol

Was it just me, or was there 2 stories there? One about MOE, and another about a crack down on modified cars? They didn't even really like them back to each other in my mind, other than the fact all the people, bar the chick, were wogs.

Just thought I'd add a side note. Compared to some other "groups" out there, modified car owners aren't that bad. Where is today tonight following around a group of bikies, and seeing how many laws the blatently ignore.

I know they are targetting middle eastern people, but that doesn't really help, when we are driving our cars through the targetted areas for whatever reasons.

Would the cops prefer if we became like bikies? so that the only way we are left alone is out of fear. its all a joke.

to be honest i was a bit of a smart ass to the cop that pulled me over. but after the RTA guy checked over the car i think they realised there was really nothing much 'defective' with the car. MANY other cars had plenty more defects i rekon. an ex-members car (now owned by some kid) was driven away by his girlfriend, and he had plenty of fines in his hand :P

anyway i was let off easy compared to other people there. but hey, it didnt worry me, i had mods on the car, im not blaming the cop for pulling me over either, or the rta guy.

Wow, you just have to look at the TT website to realise just how bored/stupid? they are.

Recent headlines;
- Meat prices out of control
- Parents attack lunchbox police
- Clothes up in flames
- Junk mail spies
- Modern dating rules for men

Journalism at its finest if i say so myself.

Dose any one watch. Chaser's war on every thing?
It's all ways giveing ACA and TT shit. Haha :D

If you ask me ACA and TT are evil, They stir shit up for there own gain (if it wasn't for the media do you think the Crunalla riots would have been as big as they where, NO) They do the same storys over and over and they don't have a clue about any thing.

The guys and girs that got done deserve it (girl with seat not bolted in. She diserved it) They where all people that go cruiseing in the city (look at my shit house blingbling mags and herar my BOV) so yeah sucked in to them.

I have never been defected, Maybe cause to me a cruise is out back away from people on some good roads not wow hear my BOV in the city, And when I'm in the city or on normal roads I drive my car like a camery, Don't do any thing stupid.

I think most people on SilviaNSW are like me there cars do have things that can be defected on there cars, but we do things the right way we get our cars engernered and do mods the right way (ie: not cutting springs to get that cool low to the ground look)

To end my little rant let me just say,
ACA and TT can go f**k them selves :D

(Sorry about the speeling half drunk)
