that is so true. what a joke.
they can defect you for whatever they feel like.

my MATE got defected for his gear knob.
the cop even tried to defect his 16" standard WRX rims.
the only thing my mate did was painted the rims black... N thats a DEFECT... ????

what a joke..

i cant wait to have all these mods on my car and show the coppa the engeneers cert for all of them, i would give it to him so hard, i would probly just let him go on and on about the defects, then just say "oh, hang on, heres the engeneers certificate, i knew daddy put it somewhere"

i encountered a pretty weird cop the other day, he was being a huge smartass but he let me off
1) not indicating at a round about
2) missing back p plate
3) not having a manual license <- i dont think he noticed this one

I just don't understand how a cop can defeat you for your washer bottle! Why do they waste their time trying to prove a point, when they can be out catching criminals :(

A cop can defect you for anything they want such as a dirty windscreen that affects your vision
now you have to prove it wasnt dirty they can even defect you on a brand new car 10 meters away from the dealers that you just picked it up from
Now i have got 2 Coppers living next door to me

I was recently in the same situation where they tried to defect anything they could on my car, they ended up just giving me a warning (cause the guy had NO IDEA about cars).

I have 3 cops living in our apartment block, luckily they are nice :)
