got videos? :P

the yanks have a few odd ideas when it comes to engine management.
std ecus, with a ITC,SAFC,FCD and the like added-on are more common than just swapping in a power fc or haltech like we more commonly do.
part of that may be a lack of know-how,and a lack of availability.
we make the best ecus in the world, and they're both plentiful, and affordable for us,so it's an easier and more sensible solution for us to swap one in than for some other places.

What all do you guys have =O?

I'm still working on my first motor, but I think I've got pretty good know-how for my inexperience at least... I'm just looking for a vacum line diagram, because the FSM is NOT helping =p

I was talking about engine management <.<

Inexpensive stuff, rather than like... sixty trillion euros

You guys use.... OBDII? Or is that different in Europe...?

I was actually just in London last spring, but I wasn't interested in cars at that point, so I never made much of a point to look into it.

OBD II is a standardised output port. Its not an ECU type.

The "best ECU in the world" would be the MoTeC, but few people use it because its stupidly expensive (its more of a motorsport ECU than a street ECU).

Most people here would use an A'PEXi PowerFC. There might be Haltech, eManage, FCon, and other aftermarket computers out there as well, but for 90's Japanese imports the PowerFC tends to be the ECU of choice.
