I have heard, but cannot confirm, that in order for your level of bad breath to become a concern to well-dressed gentlemen, all you must do is "be in control of a vehicle". "Being in control" can have a VERY broad interpretation, to the point that opening the door may cause you to become harassed regarding the state of your breath. As a result, sleeping off the effects of bad breath in the back seat may have some serious consequences.

Yes... sleeping off bad breathe can be hazzardous. Best not to have the keys in the car and definately not in the ignition.

the official stance is that if the keys are in the ignition, you are in control of the car. likewise if you are sitting/lying/sleeping in the drivers seat, you're in control.. if you touch the steering wheel or gear knob, you're in control...

all of these things can get you in trouble if you have 'bad breath', or even if your licence is suspended/disqualified..

I had heard that even if the keys were in the car you could be done. So last christmas party I hid the keys behind one of the wheels and slept in the passanger side seat.
