Damn man, that car was a sweet ride, I very much remember it from the December cruise (as I passed it :D )....

Go back to the scene, and see if any shops or anything are near by, they might have security cameras that may have picked up the incodent, and see if you can buy a copy of the video from the store owner (tell them your planning to use this as evidence, and require it).

Also, never bother about you vs them situations, because skid marks, panel damage, and comparison between both cars will give you a fairly decent indication of the likely event, if she has hit you in the side, you will have side damage, if she was merging as she hit you, then she will have corner damage, if you where merging, YOU will have corner damage, it's open/shut in this kind of accident.

BTW, if you need a ride to the BBQ on Sunday, you have my number in a PM now.

Well my car is back on the road it's still got a crashed front end but it's now driveable, But hopefully it will be in the panel shop by the time of the BBQ. Thank you very much for the offer of the ride but I'll be at the BBQ in a very hot S15 :D

Just got a email from my insurance company saying that they will repair my car with Nil Excess so I guess that meens they belive I'm in the right (which I am). :D :D :D :D

Given that they've believed your story, logically they must not have believed hers - which should mean that not only will they pursue her for whatever they lay out on repairing your car, her own insurance company might not pay her out for the damage to hers, and her insurance record will have a big red mark on it for a few years...

i got literally ran off the road today when the 4wd next to me started merging into me - without signalling either (not that it would have helped the situation anyway).

suprise suprise it was a little EDITED, and she was laughing at me when i drove past...she thinks this is some game :roll:

yeh that happened to me as well, both turning, and all of a sudden she merges into my lane without indicating, i went off the road and onto the foot path.

i chased her down afterwards and she was laughing? not in a sorry manner but the "hahahaha, sucked in" sort of way.

so i drove over took her and drove 10km/h
HAHAHA

whois laughing now?

btw, i wasnt in my silvia, which made things easier
lol
