Coz of my dodgy wiring, I ended up blowing the ignition fuse in the engine bay fuse box. I didn't have a spare and the wrecker's were closed so in my hast to get the car back on the road I went to genuine nissan. After the usual dilemma of talking to holden & ford people for getting a part for an imported vehicle, they got it and it was $25!!!! for a 30amp fuse! I scraped out the money and got my car back but j*sus ch*ist! $25 for a fusible link molded in a bit of plastic???

eek!

well at least you didn't whack a big bit of wire in and cause something else to blow next time :) (not that I've done that, but I've seen it happen!)

Yeah, these weren't the normal ones but they were 30amp ones in a special box thing to plug into the fusebox.
