mate i had a similar experience. when i had to get my laptop fixed. All i can suggest is to get your fair trading papers ready if it is under warranty.

Tell the guys fixing the computer that you will take it to the fair trading for damages and also any losses. i think u can claim under 10k

Most companies do not want to go to fair trading so he should fix it real quick :)

someones right on the button. but im not going to say who it is. although i have i havent actually told you all that they are shit - and i dont believe they are as i have plenty of their other products in my house that are perfectly fine, and im very happy with them - but this could be viewed the wrong way.

Well, I called again this morning when they didnt call me by 10. I spoke to the team leader, I didnt even need to say much. He apparently completely understood why I was pissed off. He is going to sort something by this afternoon and will call me back. He also supplied his direct number incase I need to talk to him. Uhuh, the only time ill be ringing is when I tell them their asses are going to be kicked

I used to have to deal with that shit every single day running an RA dept for a decent sized support/service company. My phone handset at my desk was so beaten up. It used to get thrown around all the time.

For future reference:
http://www.monitorhospital.com.au

I've sent heaps of work their way over the past 5 years for no other reason than their always very fast, reliable and cheap. A Fixed price is always a good option.

So a call yesterday assured me they would be returned, repaired by close of business today. They will be chasing up the repair centre themselves today to make sure its done.

I had awesome sagas with an LG monitor.

I was calling LG and the service people almost every day for over a year, and eventually they replaced it with a newer model because there weren't any of the old ones left :P

The servicing company changed employees at least 10 times and was owned by different people by the time I got the monitor back!

Oh yeah, reporting them to consumer affairs did help in the end :P

LG - Life's GAAAGAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHGHSSAAAGGGAAAGAGAAA!!!#@@#%*AAAAAARRRRGGGH!!!!!!killyou!!!!²
