I haven't had a problem with them. They're a bit short on the phone and in email, but that's understandable considering the volume of BS they have to deal with via each medium. Their prices are reasonable considering they have basically anything you want, when you want it, and if you don't like it - you're more than welcome to shop elsewhere.

My only bad experience with them was when they promised me certain aftermarket bits would stay on my halfcut, which somehow disappeared between when I inspected it, and when it was delivered. The engine and box however were in excellent condition, which is much more important IMHO.

Sorry to sound like a dickhead, but shouldn't you know the part you're after before you go to see them?

I had the same incident with another import shop. Only the parts disappeared when my back was turned. Over the phone i made sure i was getting suspension, brakes, etc, and he said "yeah for sure my nig". When i drive 1.5 hours up the coast to grab it, the guy says i can't have them, and i needed them for my repair.

I did an oil filter for my S14 and I said that I wont (one for an S14 SR20DET) course I know that red and black tops have diff filters and I didnt know the numbers on the filters as i've only had the car for a few a little bit and first service I've done on it. Any way its only a few $ just had the shits at the time. Sent them an email

I once called them and asked em if they had a fuel sender unit for my s13. "Yeah we got one" was the reply.
So i drove all the way down there to pick it up and when i get there they told me they didnt have one.
Grrrrrrr.
Maybe they sold it in the 35 mins it took for me to drive there. But i honestly doubt it.

wreckers are generally pretty poor all 'round, but they're also a necessart evil,so you have to put up with a bit of crap now and again.

I've been rubbed the wrong way by just jap a few times as well. I'll only go there if I have no alternative.

Justin...
